Display 1: Children's Low Noise Musical Display
A gentler, music-choreographed display designed especially for younger guests and those with sensitive ears — still magical, just with fewer bangs!
Display 2: Spectacular Main Musical Display
Our main show is a high-energy, perfectly timed display where every firework bursts to the beat of some of the biggest hits. A true sensory spectacle!
Live Music
In between the displays, the stage comes alive with a fantastic Harry Styles tribute to keep the crowd dancing. After the main display, the party continues with three phenomenal female tributes to Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift – it’s a post-show concert you won’t want to miss!

Official tickets are only available via this website and our official Supporters at Wolverhampton City Council.
Once purchased your digital ticket will be sent via the email address you used during checkout.
This event is expected to sell out so don’t miss out on your tickets!
Event timing
Explore the site, visit the funfair, enjoy the live music and indulge in one of many delicious food choices from our outdoor vendors. We have scrummy coffees and hot chocolate and for those of you not driving, we have a licensed bar.
Children’s display for our younger guests, choreographed to music and little less bang for those delicate ears.
This is the main display, choreographed to some of the biggest hits, every firework will dance in time to the beat and light the night sky!
Our event is open until 10pm when the park closes. Entry to the event closes at 9pm.
Getting Here
We encourage people to plan their journey in advance, check local travel information and to use public transport where possible.
Please allow plenty of time as we expect traffic to be heavy.
Please note there is NO onsite parking at this event.
There are a number of Wolverhampton City Council car parks within walking distance of West Park Fireworks. You can find out more here.
Please note new for 2025 Parking and Traffic restrictions apply.
There will be no vehicle or parking access on the following roads for the duration of the event:
Southgate
Park Road West closed at the Summerfield Road Junction.
Park Road East closed at the Park Ave and Park Cresent junctions
Accessibility Parking
We will have a limited number of accessible parking spaces available to Blue Badge Holders along Park Road West.
These will be available on a first come first served basis.
A Blue Badge will need to be displayed to use these parking spaces.
Entry Gates
Entry gates are located at the following entrances to the park:
South Gate – Main gate for all ticket holders & accessibility access (Open 5pm – 9pm)
Park Road West gate – Open from 5pm until 9pm for all NON TICKET HOLDERS & ENQUIRIES
Park Road East – Early event exit gate open throughout event
NO RE-ENTRY TO THE EVENT ONCE TICKETS HAVE BEEN SCANNED
Wolverhampton Frequently Asked Questions
At this site, we have fantastic catering facilities and a licensed bar. You are unable to bring your own food or drink onto site (of course baby food is allowed)
If you do have dietary requirements that are uncatered for of course you can bring your own food. We are catering for our guests requiring: Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan offerings.
We open gates to the site from 5pm. Entry gates are located at the following entrances to the park:
South Gate – Main gate for all ticket holders & accessibility access – Open 5pm until 9pm
Park Road East gate – for all NON TICKET HOLDERS & ENQUIRIES – Open 5pm until 9pm
Park Road West – Early event exit gate open throughout event
No entry to event will be permitted past 9pm. Please note the planned times for the displays are:
Children’s display – 19:15
Adult’s display – 20:30
Tribute band on stage 21:00 – 21:45
At West Park we have hard surface walkway from the entrance gate at South Gate through the event field into an accessibility viewing area*, again hard standing. The accessibility viewing area is located past the event control, where the accessibility toilets will also be located. As this area is limited on space anyone requiring access will need to obtain a viewing pass when purchasing a ticket (this is an add on and free, it is only valid with a full paying adult ticket). You will be allowed to have one adult member of your party stand with you in this area. Please note there is no seating provided for this area, please ensure you have a chair with you if you need to sit throughout the event.
Accessibility parking bays are located at the South Gate Entrance on Park Road West. You will need to display a valid blue badge to park here. This is strictly a first come basis as spaces are limited.
*Please note this area has hard standing to assist any mobility issues, however it may have restricted viewing to parts of the displays.
You are welcome to bring lightweight chairs to sit on.
No, sorry this event does not allow structures of any kind.
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a search on arrival to remove any glass, fireworks including sparklers, knives, drugs or items security may feel are unsuitable for the event.
**LIGHT UP TOYS NOT PURCHASED INSIDE THE EVENT WILL NOT BE PERMITTED**
Please note as much as we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed on site.
You are purchasing a ticket for the viewing of 2 fireworks displays. The first is a smaller children’s choreographed musical fireworks display. The second is a large scale choreographed musical fireworks display. Your ticket includes entry into the event site for the purpose of the fireworks displays.
All added event features such as the funfair, food & drink, light up toys, bar and entertainers are as added value and not part of the ticket price.
